Our Beliefs

What do we believe? The Bible. Valuing creativity, we stand firmly rooted in the Word of God while reaching beyond religious barriers. God’s not in a box and we believe that His Church shouldn’t be either.

IN THE BIBLE
OUT OF THE BOX

  • We Believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)

  • We Believe that “salvation is found in no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

  • We Believe “if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)

  • We Believe “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

  • We Believe that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” and can fully redeem and powerfully use even those who consider they have been “the worst”. (1 Timothy 1:15)

  • We Believe God “is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

  • We Believe that all scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training  in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • We Believe that every believer in Christ is the “temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

  • We Believe we have been “baptized by the one Spirit into one body” (1 Corinthians 12:13) and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are “all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:29) We actively support the unity of all believers eclipsing all denominational, economic or ethnic diversities.

  • We Believe in the operation of the gifts. There are “different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:4)

  • We Believe that all things should “be done decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14:41)

  • We Believe “our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so they will be like His glorious body.”(Philippians 3:21) “And so shall we forever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17)Until then, we believe we are to strive to “live holy and Godly lives as we look forward to the day of God.” (2 Peter 3:11-12)
